Frequently Asked Questions
General
How does Memory Nook work?
Open the app and a lo-fi room shifts with time and weather — light, a quiet resident, and ambient sound that starts when the room is ready. No account or daily tasks are required. Use the bottom bar for Listen Mode; tap the room to hide the UI. Sound continues only while the app is open in the foreground; switching apps or locking the phone pauses it.
Is my data private?
Yes. No account, analytics, ads, or tracking. Display comfort and sound preferences stay on your device. Location is used only for weather via Apple WeatherKit, and is not stored on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What devices are supported?
iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Free to download and use. Mac and Apple Vision Pro are not supported.
Troubleshooting
The weather outside the window doesn’t match.
Allow location While Using the App in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Memory Nook. Without permission, a simulated weather cycle is used.
Sound stopped when I left the app or locked the phone.
That is expected. Playback continues only while Memory Nook is open in the foreground. Switch back to the app to resume; the bottom bar also has play/pause and soundscape controls.
My iPhone gets warm or battery drains quickly.
Long sessions can warm the device. In the app Settings (gear), set COMFORT to COOLER or COOLEST, or leave it on AUTO to adapt when the device is warm or in Low Power Mode.

How does Smart Photo Diary work?
Select up to three photos from your library. A short diary entry is generated while you wait — often within about a minute, depending on your connection. You need to be online to generate; saved entries can be read offline.
Where are my diary entries stored?
Diary entries are stored locally on your device (encrypted on disk). To generate an entry, the selected photo and the generation prompt are sent to Google’s Gemini API; focuswave does not store them on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I export my diary entries?
Yes. You can share individual entries as images, and back up entries as a JSON file from Settings.
What languages are supported?
Currently, diary generation is available in English and Japanese.
Subscription
What’s included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 10 stories per month, photos from today and yesterday, a subset of writing styles, auto-tagging, calendar view, and offline reading of saved entries.
What are the benefits of the premium plan?
Premium includes access to photos from the past year, 100 stories per month, and all writing styles.
Troubleshooting
Why can’t I see all my photos?
Please ensure you’ve granted photo library access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. On the free plan, only photos from today and yesterday are available for new stories; Premium unlocks the past year.
The diary doesn’t match my photo. What should I do?
The generated diary may not always match what you had in mind. Try regenerating it, or edit it by hand to match your memory of the day.
The app is running slowly. What can I do?
Try closing other apps, restarting the app, or restarting your device. If issues persist, please contact support.

How does Flowease work?
Flowease uses your Mac’s camera to monitor sitting posture in real time. It shows a posture score from 0–100 and color-coded feedback in the menu bar. When the score stays low for a while, it can send a macOS notification. You can turn alerts off or change the threshold and how often they may repeat.
Is my data private?
Yes. All processing runs locally on your Mac with Apple’s Vision framework. Camera frames are not recorded or sent anywhere. Calibration, alert preferences, and camera choice are stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What Mac do I need?
Flowease requires macOS 14.6 (Sonoma) or later and a Mac with a camera. If more than one camera is available, you can choose which one to use.
Troubleshooting
How do I set up Flowease?
After launching, click the menu bar icon and complete calibration to set your ideal posture baseline. You can recalibrate or reset later from the same menu. Flowease then monitors posture automatically while it is running.
I’m getting too many notifications.
Open the menu bar panel and open alert settings. You can disable alerts, raise the score threshold, lengthen the evaluation period, or increase the minimum time between notifications.
Is Flowease free?
Yes, Flowease is completely free to use.

How does Struq work?
Struq runs in your browser at struq.focuswave.cc — there is nothing to install. Sign in with Google, add a song, then lay out its sections (Intro, A, B, Chorus, Bridge, Solo, Interlude, Outro, or your own custom labels) with chords and memos. During a session, open the performance view for a fullscreen, high-contrast reference you can advance by tap, click, or automatic timing based on the song’s BPM.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Struq signs you in with your Google account so your songs and setlists stay in sync across every device you use.
Is Struq free?
Yes, Struq is free to use. It is currently in beta, so features may still change.
Does Struq work offline?
Yes. Struq is a PWA: run a bulk download while online and your songs and setlists are cached in your browser for offline reading. A connection is still needed for the first load and to save changes. The offline cache is cleared when you sign out.
How do I share a song or setlist?
Open the share dialog and enter the email address of the person you want to share with — they need a Struq account already. They can then view it from their shared-with-me inbox and will see your email address as the owner. You can revoke access at any time.
Troubleshooting
Why is AI generation rate-limited?
AI structure generation is limited to one request every 10 seconds per account. Wait a moment and try again. If it still fails, check your connection — generation needs to reach the server.
My songs aren’t available offline.
Offline reading requires a bulk download performed while you are still online, and the cache is cleared every time you sign out. Sign in while connected and run the download again.
How do I delete my account and data?
Deleting a song or setlist in the app removes it from your account. To delete your account entirely along with its stored data, email us and we will take care of it.
